  13.     1.3 - Beta test version. Changed code to read RBBS 17.3c callers

  18.     1.4 - Corrected code which aborted program even though the CFG file
  19.             was in correct format.
  20.         - Added code to deal with the way RBBS 17.3c
  21.           (0821 BETA) writes to the callers file when there is a local
  22.           logon. For some reason the Baud rate is recorded as BPS 
  23.           when a local logon occurs.
  24.         - PREUSR.ERR, the error file, will now write all errors with a date
  25.           and time stamp (rather than just the last error which occured).

  29.     2.0 - Code reduction, and modularization. Major code rewrite to allow
  30.           addition of several new options and easy incorporation of 
  31.           future options I have in mind.
  32.         - Added new command line parameters /C:, /P:, /A:, /S:
  33.         - Added ability for the SysOp to specify own string in the "Previous
  34.           caller" field. Displayed immediately before last callers name. 
  35.         - Added ability to append a file to the end or begining of the 
  36.           file(s) written. Can be done from command line or from within 
  37.           the list of files for output. This allows SysOp to still use the 
  38.           file(s) for announcements, etc.   
  39.         - Added abililty to choose between two styles of output;                          
  40.           multi-line or single-line output may be specified in the .CFG file.
  41.         - Code rewrite to check for registration number. The name of the BBS
  42.           must appear on line 2 of the .CFG file
  43.         - The BBS name is now displayed in the output file and the BBS name
  44.           on line 2 of the .CFG file may be preceeded with smartext if you
  45.           are using smartext to turn color on (line 6).
  46.         - Added ability to exclude City/State field from output. This allows
  47.           those SysOps which have redifined parameter 57 to use PREUSR w/o
  48.           displaying that info. to all users.

  52.     3.0 - Stopped Previous User from displaying LOGON DENIED if the last
  53.           LOGON was denied.
  54.         - Added support for a boxed multi-line display with user
  55.           defined box charachters (ASCII). OutPut Styles 3 and 4.
  56.         - Added support to show SysOp defined number of previous users.
  57.           This display can use 1, 2, 3 or no colors in smartext OR ANSI
  58.           and can be boxed if so desired. OutPut Style 4.
  59.         - Added support for two color display with smartext.
  60.         - Added support for three color display! You can now define the
  61.           color of the boxed multi-line display.
  62.         - Added the option to use a color control file for output styles
  63.           3 and 4. You can now specify the color of each item in the output
  64.           file. The name for the color control file is placed on line 14 of
  65.           the .CFG file in place of the box color and is preceeded with a
  66.           "@" (at) sign (w/o quotes). See the example file PREUSR.CLR and the
  67.           new PREUSR.CFG file for more info. If you do not use this option and
  68.           instead use lines 7, 8, and 14 to select colors then the output file
  69.           will alternate with colors 1 and 2 for each consecutive caller.
  70.         - Added /G command line switch to turn on color output to the monitor.
  71.         - Added /N command line parameter to writes only minimal info. to
  72.           the screen.... the /G switch is now valid with this switch and
  73.           both can be used together if desired.
  74.         - Added /? command line switch to display help on command line
  75.           parameters and configuration file information.
  76.         - Added a new command line switch /R: which tells PREUSR not to
  77.           display repetitive logons from the same user. Eg: Joe Twit logs on
  78.           3 times in a row!
  79.         - Added "program operation timer" to the screen output (rounded to
  80.           the nearest second). Mostly for programming purposes.
  81.         - Added support for the clearscreen smartext character so that the
  82.           previous user display will not pause in the middle. Thanks BC!
  83.         - This version of Previous User is now COMPLETELY DESQview
  84.           aware. If you are NOT using the /N switch you should see PREUSR
  85.           report the version of DV you are using. This means that PREUSR
  86.           will make itself "efficient" to DESQview. Thanks to Richie
  87.           Molinelli for testing all of the DV aware routines!
  88.         - Added a little "smartext" of my own. If you are using output style
  89.           4 then you can use a "%" character (without quotes) in the title
  90.           specified on line 5 of the .CFG file. This character will be
  91.           replaced by the number of callers displayed. This comes in handy
  92.           when you have deleted the callers file and the number of caller
  93.           records are less than the number of callers you specify on line
  94.           14 of the .CFG file. Using this character automatically adjusts
  95.           the title for you!

  99.     4.0 - Enhanced local screen output.
  100.         - Included the ability to use an EXCLUSION LIST as indicated by
  101.           the /S: command line parameter.
  102.         - Made the Date field an option by using /D on the command line.
  103.     - Rewrote the code that reads the Config file so that the
  104.           config file can now contain comments/remarks on lines begining
  105.           with a semi-colon (;).
  106.         - The parameters in the configuration file are now key-worded.
  107.     - Added new parameter to the box definition in styles 3 and 4.
  108.       Parameter number 7 is now the ASCII code of the character you
  109.       want to use for "Plain Vanilla" output files.
  110.         - All output styles will now create plain vanilla, graphics, and
  111.       color versions in one pass.
  112.     - PreUsr will now use graphics and color versions of Append and Prefix
  113.       files, BUT, only if it finds them. They will be used for the appro-
  114.       priate output files.
  115.         - Added /T command line switch by the request of those using
  116.       exclusively smartext for thier output files. This also supports
  117.       the eight color Mods to RBBS quite well.
  118.     - Added a /L command line switch to display the amount of time a
  119.       user has spend on-line.
  120.         - Completely rewrote the logic and code which checks for registration
  121.       codes. This means you need a new registration number for Ver 4.0,
  122.       this one was long overdue.
